A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Giang
Since its foundation, Hanoi University of Technology (HUT) is among Vietnam's  top universities of technology. Over more than a half century of development and growth, HUT has made remarkable achievements in fostering talents, conducting scientific research to serve the national development and social progress. The vitally important progress in scientific research and training has made HUT become increasingly influential and deserved to be a live model in terms of academic excellence among the country's higher education institutions.

HUT is embarking the new era with both great opportunities and harsh challenges after the first half of a century under continuous construction and growth. The master planning, construction and development Project for HUT from 2006 to 2030 has been ratified by the Government. This project is appreciated as a breakthrough for HUT to thrive to change HUT's look, aiming at achieving the goal of developing HUT into a University of international standard.

With the motto 'All HUT's members are united, dynamic, well prepared and ready for the university's modernization and international integration' it is necessary to promote the development of the institutional culture, inherit and carry forward excellent traditions.

We determine to make the university an attractive address for industrial investors, a life long home for excellent staffs and a cradle for students to pursue knowledge while enjoying excellent academic atmosphere and recognized qualifications.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Giang
President
