Department of International Cooperation
1.Function
The Department of International Cooperation (DIC) of HUT provides consultancy for the President in planning, managing and organizing activities to sustain its relationship with international universities, research institutes, governmental and non-governmental organizations and oversea Vietnamese according to the State’s regulation.
2.Responsibility
- Organizing and monitoring HUT’s international cooperation activities within HUT’s relationship with international universities, scientific and technical organizations, international organizations and scientists, oversea Vietnamese, etc. in order to encourage technical and financial support for HUT.
- Taking advantage of international cooperation to attract findings, scholarships from international organizations and education and research institutions for HUT’s development and international integration through human resource training and scientific research.
- Making strategic recommendations to the Presidents on international cooperation. Making immediate and long term cooperation plans to submit to the President for approval and implementing these plans to ensure optimal benefits to HUT.
- Under the President’s direction, contacting international partners and international organizations; coordinating HUT’s technical units’ supports for the President during negotiation and agreement signing with its partners for mutual interest.
- Collaborating with and supporting HUT’s units in their international cooperation; developing projects, organizing receptions, dealing with entrance and exit procedures for visitors to HUT.
- Monitoring the implementation of ongoing international cooperation projects to report to the President in time and making appropriate and effective recommendations.

Doan Xuan Huong to monitor in-country training scholarships, short courses, relationships with foreign invested companies, and involve in World Bank project, Cisco.
Duong Thuy Mai to arrange DIC’s weekly work schedule, keep visiting schedules updated ; translate and have English documents certified ; monitor coopearations of AUN SEED Net, SEA TUC. GMSARN, GMTECH’ and monitor coopearations within America, Japan and Europe (English speaking).
Nguyen Thi Phuong to monitor and support HUT’s activities in relation to AUF ; monitor projects of bilateral cooperation with Frenchi speaking countries ; translate and have French documents certified.
Nguyen Hoai Quan to complete entrance and exit procedures for international visitors invited by HUT ; facilitate activities in relation to AUF and bilateral coopearation with French speaking countries.
Nguyen Thi Hanh to monitor and facilitate HUT’s activities in relation to ASEA UNINET ; to monitor cooperation with universities, research institutes and organizations in Asia except for Japan ; and translate and have English documents certified.
Thai Linh Thu to minitor and facilitate HUT’s activities in relation to Korea’s universities and research institutes ; supporting cooperation with VLIR’s member universities ; and translate and have English documents certified.
