RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:

Solar photovoltaic

MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS:

  1. Main research and application unit for National New and Renewable Energy programmes 17 R&D projects and 3 application projects at state and ministerial levels.
  2. Nearly 80 solar PV systems with total capacity of 70kWp, about 300 micro- and minihydro generators with capacity in range from 200 W up to 100 kW, 400 solar domestic water heater system, and dozen of wind generators of the rural domestic scale (500-2000 KW) have been designed, manufactured and installed/supplied.
  3. National projects "study to work out the strategy and policy of rural energy up to the year 2000" and "application of renewable energy technology for rural energy supply".
